Bore Welding

For some jobs like dog bones, Z links, shafts, cylinder & rod eyes, it is more economical to use our independent bore welding units. Internal & external diameter welding can be carried out on shafts or bores as required.

Currently, Line Boring Services, Lonsdale use various adaptations of the Hofmann Mk1 & Mk2 welding heads or a Eutectic Castolin IDWELD25 bore welder modified to reduced speeds capable of welding diameters up to 650mm with 3mm lap overlay.
